Rob Garcia grew up Boxing in Hawaii, with over 40 fights to his record. He moved to San Diego to obtain his degree in Exercise Science, and went on to become one of the top strength and conditioning experts in the industry. He was the youngest coach ever selected for the U.S. Boxing Team.

In 2001, Rob was hired as Oscar De La Hoya’s Head Strength and Conditioning coach. For 8 years, until De La Hoya’s retirement, he worked alongside Oscar’s other main coaches Freddie Roach and Floyd Mayweather Senior. He gained a huge amount of experience from these two Boxing masters and this experience turned Rob into an outstanding Boxing coach as well.

Now, he trains professional boxers and MMA fighters. Besides his deep knowledge of Boxing, Rob has ben training in Jiu Jitsu for over 10 years and has an excellent understanding of how to apply Boxing to MMA.
