Felipe Portela is a Professional MMA and Muay Thai fighter. He started training at a young age with Carlos Inocente, founder of the Brazilian Kickboxing team RKT. Felipe also trained Jiu Jitsu with Nova Uniao and Muay Thai with Israel Gomez, from the famous Chute Boxe academy. Chute Boxe is the gym in Brazil that launched the careers of MMA fighters such as Wanderlei Silva, Shogun Rua, Thiago Silva, and Cyborg Santos among others.
Felipe is a Brazilian Muay Thai black belt, a Brazilian Kickboxing black belt, and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt. He is undefeated in 5 Pro Muay Thai fights and 3 Pro MMA fights. He now teaches and trains full time at The Arena.
