No Gi Jiu Jitsu is a subset of Submission Grappling / Wrestling. It has evolved over thousands of years like all Wrestling related systems, but is now a modern sport managed by The International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA), the main governing body for Wrestling worldwide. FILA calls the sport Grappling and includes it as 1 of the 5 main styles of Wrestling (see Grappling for more info).

The Arena focuses on No Gi Jiu Jitsu training due to the constant domination by its practioners in Grappling tournaments across the world. These tournaments include the ADCC, the IBJJF National, Pan American and World Championships, Grapplers Quest, NAGA, and more. This domination by No Gi Jiu Jitsu competitors leaves no doubt about the effectiveness of this style.

We have great No Gi Jiu Jitsu instructors, including 2007 ADCC Submission Grappling World Champion Rani Yahya, as well as other instructors who have won National and Pan-American championships. Our classes are particularly well-suited for competitors who want to learn an aggressive submission style, whether for Grappling, MMA or both.

The Arena offers a variety of other classes, including:
